Lowy Institute Papers

Subscriptions to the third series of our flagship publication, the Lowy Institute Papers, are now open. You will receive the series of 12 papers for $290.

Extensively researched, the Lowy Institute Papers provide in-depth and original analysis of current world events and trends. The Papers map Australia's role in the world and outline the responses required from the Australian government and society. They are essential reading for anyone affected by Australia's international directions.

Each paper is monograph length, 20,000-30,000 words, and is practically focused. These books are authored by specialists, but written for a general audience, and include relevant maps and tables.

Recent Papers have analysed:
  • the shifting foundations of the emerging global order
  • the difficult diplomatic waters the Australian Government will have to navigate in a world where power is shifting away from unipolarity and towards an Asia-centric multipolar order
  • the sources of depletion of Southeast Asia's fish stocks and what can be done regionally to address it before it becomes too late and
  • the growing pressures on governments to temper the forces driving globalisation.

Attached is a subscription form for series three of the Lowy Institute Papers.
