Papua New Guinea: Leadership Mapping Project

10 May 2012

Research Fellow Alex Oliver has travelled twice to Papua New Guinea since late 2011 to interview some of the nation’s leaders in the latest phase of the Institute’s Leadership Mapping project. This research diary includes extracts from Alex’s first round of interviews in Port Moresby in November 2011, and outlines some of the formidable challenges confronting the nation’s elite in the lead-up to the 2012 parliamentary elections.
