Andrea Ghiselli is Lecturer in International Politics at the University of Exeter. He is also the Head of Research of the TOChina Hub’s ChinaMed Project. He is the author of Protecting China’s Interests Overseas: Securitization and Foreign Policy (2021), and co-author of Narratives of Sino-Middle Eastern Futures: In the Eye of the Beholder (with Mohamed Alsudairi, 2025), and Explaining China's International Behaviour (with Todd H. Hall, forthcoming).
