Christian Lohberger is Vice-Chair of the UNFCCC’s Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) Advisory Board and represents Papua New Guinea in international climate negotiations, focusing on technology policy and access for developing countries.

He is a solar energy specialist with hands-on experience designing and managing off-grid solar projects in remote areas. His work spans technical implementation, project management, and climate finance advisory for clean energy development.

Based in Port Moresby, Christian is also the President of the Solar Energy Association of PNG and works with national, regional and global stakeholders to expand renewable energy throughout the Pacific.
