Humayoon Babur is a freelance journalist and researcher who has covered Afghanistan for years, focusing on a wide range of topics, including politics, conflict, human rights, and environmental issues. He holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Yeungnam University in South Korea and has a strong background in reporting on the region and Afghanistan's complex socio-political landscape. He was a Daniel Pearl Fellow in the United States in 2019.
