Jennifer J. Williams is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity Analysis at Macquarie University’s School of International Studies, where she specialises in behavioural cybersecurity – the intersection of human psychology and digital security. Her expertise bridges technical and non-technical cybersecurity domains, drawing on her background in quantitative experimental cognitive science with a focus on information processing and decision-making. Williams’ contributions to Australia’s defence sector have earned significant recognition, including winning the Best Cyber Security Technician or Specialist Under 35 category at the 2024 Defence and National Security Workforce Awards and being nominated as a finalist in two categories across both the 2024 and 2025 awards.
