Jocelinn Kang is a strategist and technology communicator with more than 20 years' experience in cybersecurity in the national security domain. She combines technical depth with strategic insight and has built a career helping leaders understand how systems function, where risks lie and where new opportunities can be developed.

Originally trained as a systems and network engineer, she has held roles in the Department of Defence and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a technical officer responsible for building and securing communication systems, and as a data and geospatial analyst and trainer. 

She now leads Nodalys, a research consultancy specialising in the telecommunications sector in Oceania. Prior to this, she served as a technical specialist and program manager at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, where she shaped regional cyber and technology policy discussions on digital risk and emerging and critical technologies. Her work and commentary have appeared in The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, ABC, and other outlets.
