Lisa Martin is an Australian journalist based in Copenhagen. She is a four-time Walkley Award finalist.

Before moving to Denmark, Martin was a Southeast Asia Correspondent in Bangkok for Agence France-Presse and was president of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand.

She previously spent eight years in the Canberra Parliament House Press Gallery as a political reporter with Australian Associated Press. As AAP's diplomatic and defence correspondent, she covered multiple overseas trips with Australian prime ministers, including to Washington DC. She undertook a military embed in the Middle East with the Royal Australian Air Force. Martin also reported for Guardian Australia in Melbourne.

Martin is an alumnus of the US State Department’s (IVLP) Edward R Murrow investigative journalism program, European Union Visitors Program, Lowy Institute’s Australia–Papua New Guinea Network Emerging Leaders Dialogue, CAUSINDY and ACICIS Journalism Practicum Program.

She speaks Bahasa Indonesia, Thai and is learning Danish.
