Peter Chai is Research Associate at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. His research areas are political sociology, comparative politics, and public opinion. His research method is survey analysis, and his regional focus is East Asia. His writing has appeared on Nikkei Asia, The Diplomat, and East Asia Forum.
