Dr Tri Nuke Pudjiastuti is a Research Professor at the Research Centre for Politics, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Her expertise in trafficking and smuggling has informed her broader research on irregular migration and refugee issues in Indonesia and across the ASEAN region. For more than five years, she was a member of the ASEAN Research Team, and has contributed policy and position papers to the Indonesian government.
