Building a global economy: the IMF, the World Bank and the WTO

In a presentation on 1 March at the Centre for Defence and Strategic Studies in Canberra, Mark Thirlwell looked at the role of the IMF, the World Bank and the WTO in the international economy. His presentation reviewed the development of the three institutions from the perspective of a changing global economy, and outlined some of the challenges facing these important building blocks of the current international economic architecture.
