This volume contains the proceedings of a conference on Indo-Pacific Maritime Security in the 21st Century, which was convened on February 21 and 22, 2011, at the Royal Australian Navy Heritage Centre on Garden Island in Sydney. The conference resulted from a collaboration of the Lowy Institute for International Policy and the US Naval War College, with support from the MacArthur Foundation, The Royal Australian Navy and Austal.
