Aloysius Selwas Taborat

Aloysius Selwas Taborat is an Indonesian diplomat. He holds a Bachelor of Law in Transnational Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and an LL.M from the Washington College of Law, American University, specialising in the United States National Security Law (Fulbright Scholarship).

Between 2018-21, he was assigned as Third and Second Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the UN in New York. He was a member of the Indonesian Delegation to the UN Security Council in 2019-2020 where he was responsible for Working Method of the UN Security Council, Transitional Justice, JCPOA, and maritime security. He also has represented Indonesia at the ECOSOC, United Nations General Assembly, and the International Court of Justice.

His writing has been published on various platforms. He currently resides in Jakarta.
