Ana Stuparu

After obtaining a dual major degree in hospitality management and business administration from Hotel Institute Montreux (Switzerland) and Northwood University (USA), Ana moved to Australia and focused her postgraduate interests on international relations and security studies. In January 2016, she commenced her PhD at the National Security College, and is hoping to discover the perfect formula to a balanced cyber governance state strategy by 2019.

  • Australia's new cyber security strategy: A critical outlook

    The Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet recently released a $230 million Cyber Security Strategy. Interestingly, the last such document, issued in 2009 under former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, was put forth by the Attorney General's Department. This change is most likely a display of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's own keen interest in the matter, which is splendid news for Australia.
