Emma Gerhardy

Emma Gerhardy is a master’s student in Counter-Terrorism, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. A former police officer, Emma brings practical law enforcement experience to their research. Additionally, they are a participant in the Women in Strategic Policy program at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University (ANU) and an active member of Girls Run the World. Emma has published opinion articles with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and the Australian Institute of International Affairs. Their research interests lie at the intersection of  psychology, terrorism, and gender studies.
