Khalifa Akbar

Khalifa Akbar is an Analyst at CPI, based in Jakarta, where he provides technical assistance, project management, and strategic stakeholder coordination for government initiatives. His expertise lies in investment and climate finance, with a specialization in financial due diligence and modelling.

Before joining CPI, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Indonesia as a consultant in Deals Advisory/Transaction Service division, where he dealt with both buy-side and sell side M&A transactions across various industries such as banking, multi-finance, asset management, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical. Prior to PwC, Khalifa was an intern at M&A Financial Advisory Service Deloitte Australia, Central Bank of Indonesia, and consulting firms such as Accenture, and Bain & Company.

Khalifa holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of New South Wales Australia, where he was also a postgraduate teaching assistant and a research analyst. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he received a double-degree (bachelor) in Accounting and Commerce from Universitas Indonesia and University of Queensland Australia.
