Lucy Pennington

Lucy Pennington is an international affairs ‘pracademic’ and policy commentator whose work focuses on the intersection of aid and geopolitics. Lucy’s work often combines research with practice through her work on the design, implementation, research and evaluation of a range of development programs for the governments of Australia and New Zealand along with international organisations (UNHCR, SPREP, ADB). She has worked in research and teaching roles at the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, as well as in program roles across Southeast Asia and the Pacific with a particular focus on Papua New Guinea.
