Meloney C. Lindberg
Meloney C. Lindberg has served as The Asia Foundation’s country representative in Cambodia since 2017. She oversees a diverse portfolio spanning governance, women’s empowerment, environmental resilience, and economic development. The office supports knowledge sector institutions to conduct inclusive research and policy dialogue and launched the SheThinks Network. It also works with communities and local governments on participatory budgeting, and leads interventions to improve environmental resilience through plastic waste reduction and accountability in solid waste collection. Her team also promotes women’s safety, economic empowerment, and leadership in public service.
Meloney previously served as the Foundation’s country representative in Mongolia (2009–2017) and deputy country representative in Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Miami University and a master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training, World Learning.
