Pechet Men
Pechet Men is a program manager with The Asia Foundation’s Australian-funded Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program, which strengthens Cambodian knowledge sector institutions to generate high-quality research to inform public policy. Men supports program design and day-to-day implementation, partner coordination, monitoring of MEL activities, and donor reporting. He also contributes to qualitative research, engages with government counterparts, and backstops the Policy Pulse Initiative and work on regional cooperation and new program development.
Before joining the Foundation, Men spent a decade with the Documentation Center of Cambodia, managing donor-funded research programs on Khmer Rouge history and providing technical inputs and reporting support. He previously served as a youth leader for Women Peacemakers Cambodia and supported the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport on policy development for children with special needs.
Men holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from Chulalongkorn University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Tourism) from the National University of Management. He speaks Khmer and English and has published research on youth and the Khmer Rouge.
