Sitara Noor

Sitara Noor is a Stanton Nuclear Security Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC), Stanford University. She previously completed a fellowship at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. In 2023–24, she was also a Fellow at the NATO Defense College in Rome. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority.

She is part of the International Panel of Experts for the NTI’s Nuclear Security Index since 2023. She regularly writes on nuclear and security issues at various national and international platforms including Foreign Policy, Aljazeera, The News, The National Interest, The Diplomat, South Asian Voices/Stimson Center, among others.
