Tahina Booth
Tahina Booth is the Founder and Managing Director of the Grass Skirt Project, a Papua New Guinea-founded, women-led organisation using sport to prevent gender-based violence and build youth leadership in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific, established in 2017. GSP operates on the principle that sport-for-development and a PNG-owned sport industry are not alternatives. They are the same project, at different scales. She is a former tri-international athlete and serves on the boards of Pacific Women Lead and Lifeline International.
