Thushara Dibley

Thushara Dibley is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Human Security and Social Change with over 15 years’ experience in research and evaluation across Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Australia. Her work is grounded in a commitment to social justice and focuses on peacebuilding, social movements, disability activism, and the influence of race on research and development practice. She is the author of Partnerships, Power and Peacebuilding (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), which examines the dynamics of power in international peacebuilding efforts. Thushara has also worked in culturally inclusive research and evaluation with First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse communities and previously served as Deputy Director of the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre.
