Synopsis:

After fifteen years of military dictatorship, the public are being asked to vote in the national plebiscite of 1988 on whether General Augusto Pinochet should stay in power or whether there should be an open presidential election a year after. René works as part of a team to create upbeat films and promotional material, in the hope it will encourage the Chilean public to vote 'No' to Pinochet leading the nation for another eight years.

No received a Best Foreign Language Film nomination in this year's Oscars and seems to have been well received by critics, though I liked this mordant little note on the film's Wikipedia page:

The film received a critical review by a Chilean political science professor who asks us to contemplate if we really ought to celebrate the moment that political activism turned into marketing, rather than a discussion of principles.
