In this quick comment, Lowy Institute International Security Program Director Euan Graham discusses key aspects of his Lowy Institute Analysis 'The lion and the kangaroo: Australia’s strategic partnership with Singapore', launched today.  In relation to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership recently announced by the two countries, Dr Graham remarks the term 'strategic', often over–used, is warranted in this case.
