Quick comment: The same-sex marriage survey and Australia’s place in the world

This morning the Australian Bureau of Statistics released the results of the same-sex marriage survey conducted earlier this year – of a 79.5% turnout of eligible Australians, 61.6% said 'Yes' to the question of whether the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry.
