Interesting helicopter view but also very biased and supportive of protesters.
You're right, in a democratic society legitimate protesters can expect protection of their rights, but from police not the army.
I support everybody's right to protest but not to set out to destroy a country's economy if the protest leaders do not get their own way and to hell with everybody else .
This is not a democratic protest but an attempt to overthrow the government, regardless of the financial risk to Thailand's future.
