Bruce Hill

Bruce is one of the Pacific’s most experienced journalists, having worked for both Radio Australia and Radio New Zealand. He covered the Bougainville crisis, cross-border raids on Solomon Islands, the Aitape tsunami disaster, two Fiji coups and Tonga’s development of a more democratic system. He’s won several international awards for his work, notably the Plain English Award for his work combating the use of confusing jargon by officials. His investigative stories on allegations of political interference in Fiji’s legal system have led to action by international legal NGOs.
