Christine Agius

Christine Agius is Associate Professor in Politics and International Relations at Swinburne University. Her research interests are at the intersection of IR and security studies, with a focus on gender, sovereignty, Critical Border Studies and technology and security. Her research has been published in Security Dialogue, Cooperation and Conflict, Political Geography, Postcolonial Studies and the Australian Journal of International Affairs, and she is the author of The Social Construction of Swedish Neutrality (2006); The Persistence of Global Masculinism (with Lucy Nicholas, 2018) and The Politics of Identity (edited with Dean Keep, 2018). She is an Associate Editor of Critical Military Studies and on the editorial board of Global Studies Quarterly.
