Sir Mark Stanhope

Sir Mark Stanhope was the First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, the professional head of the Royal Navy from 2009 to 2013. He was responsible to the Secretary of State for the fighting effectiveness, efficiency and morale of the Naval Service.
