Farida Fozdar is Associate Professor of Sociology, and Deputy Head (Research) of the School of Social Sciences, at the University of Western Australia, where she moved from Murdoch University in 2011 with an ARC Future Fellowship. Her research focuses on nationalism, cosmopolitanism, migration, race and ethnicity, refugee settlement, and racism. She has published widely with over a hundred journal articles, chapters, books, and reports, including the co-authored Race and Ethnic Relations (Oxford, 2009).
