Franzisca Zanker is the head of the research cluster ‘Patterns of (Forced) Migration’ at the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute at the University of Freiburg. She has a PhD in political science from University of Tübingen (2015) and her research interests include migration governance, return and the legitimisation of reform processes. She is co-founder of the research network African Migration, Mobility, and Displacement.
