Jeremy Youde is an associate professor in the Department of International Relations and Deputy Director (Education) for the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University. His research focuses on questions of global health governance and global health politics. He is the author of four books and co-editor of two recently edited volumes. His most recent book, Global Health Governance in International Society, came out in 2018 with Oxford University Press. He is also Chair of the Global Health Section of the International Studies Association. He earned his BA in political science and global development studies at Grinnell College, his MA in political science at the University of Iowa, and his PhD in political science (emphases in international relations and comparative politics) at the University of Iowa. Prior to joining the staff at the Australian National University, he taught at San Diego State University, Grinnell College, and the University of Minnesota Duluth.
