Adele Webb is Lecturer in Politics and Policy at Queensland University of Technology, and Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith Asia Institute. Her work focuses on democratic theory and its application to political histories and contemporary political dynamics in Southeast Asia. She is author of Chasing Freedom: The Philippines' Long Journey to Democratic Ambivalence (2022).
