Our individual and corporate supporters receive priority registration for our live events program, with many of our events selling out shortly after being announced. This year, we have hosted a variety of fascinating events, including: The Year Ahead: A Conversation with Gideon Rachman, An Address by President of the Philippines, Ferdinand R Marcos Jr, In conversation with Admiral John Aquilino, Commander, US Indo-Pacific Command, Russia–Ukraine war: Stocktake and forecast, and An address by The Hon Dr Jim Chalmers MP, Treasurer of Australia. In addition, we have hosted leading experts from around the world, including dean of strategic studies, Sir Lawrence Freedman, chief foreign affairs columnist of the Financial Times, Gideon Rachman and India’s former National Security Adviser, Shivshankar Menon.

We will continue to deliver an engaging, thought provoking and diverse range of events and guest speakers over the coming year. Along with our in-person events, we will also continue to produce our regular podcasts, featuring Institute experts and some of the world’s thought leaders, discussing international affairs, foreign policy and geopolitics. In the coming financial year, the Institute will publish new editions of our flagship research products, including the Lowy Institute Poll, Asia Power Index, the Pacific Aid Map and the new Southeast Asia Aid Map. We will also continue to publish Lowy Institute Papers with Penguin Random House.
