Andrew Taffer is a Research Analyst in the China & Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Division at the Center for Naval Analyses. He is the author most recently of “Threat and Opportunity: Chinese Wedging in the Senkaku/Diaoyu Conflict”. He formerly served as an analyst with the Long Term Strategy Group and as a research fellow with the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission. Andrew holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.A.L.D. and PhD from The Fletcher School, Tufts University. He was an International Security Program postdoctoral fellow at the Belfer Center, Harvard University.
