Angelo Paolo L. Trias works at the intersection of government, civil society, private sector, and academic affairs as a policy researcher, technical consultant, education administrator, instructional designer and program/project manager. His work focuses on analysing risks and security challenges that threaten the well-being and development of societies and states. He currently studies the governance of crises, disasters and humanitarian emergencies to improve policy and strengthen cooperation.

Angelo is committed to raising the public's awareness of the dangers they face, how it affects them and what they can do about it. He has written and published academic peer-reviewed journal articles, think-tank policy reports, commentary/op-eds, newsletters and blog articles. He holds a master’s degree in emergency and disaster management, bachelor of arts in psychology, and certificates in international security management, political science and crisis management.
