David Morris is a former Australian diplomat, senior political adviser and international political risk consultant. He was Trade Commissioner in China, representing the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, 2015-2018, and recently completed two terms as Vice Chair, UNESCAP Sustainable Business Network. He is Senior Research Fellow at Beijing Foreign Studies University and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Centre for China and Globalization.
His book, based upon new PhD research, is A New Era of Risk: Why We Need a New, Sustainable Internationalism to Manage the Rise of China, published by Ethics Press.
