Filipe Porto holds master’s degrees in International Relations from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and in International Journalism from FAAP University in Brazil. He is an associate researcher at the Brazilian Foreign Policy Observatory (OPEB/UFABC) and a member of the Ocean Economy Group (Grupo Economia do Mar) at the Brazilian Naval War College (Escola de Guerra Naval). His research focuses on China’s relations with Brazil, international relations, geopolitics, and defence.
