Iona Main has worked as a foreign policy adviser at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, a political adviser to the Australian Consul-General in New York and more recently as a management consultant at Bain & Company. She holds a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, and speaks Indonesian and French.
