Ivy Kwek is the Research Director at Research for Social Advancement, a Kuala-Lumpur based think-tank. Having spent some time at the Ministry of Defence Malaysia and involved in the drafting of the first Malaysian Defence White Paper, she now specialises in Southeast Asia’s regional security and foreign policy issues, and co-manages a defence blog, Projek Pertiwi.
