Jena Jaensch is an editor at Young Australians in International Affairs and is a member of BASIC’s Emerging Voices Network. She has written for security focussed think tank SAGE International Australia and the Australian Institute of International Affairs, researching the impact of “Brexit” on Northern Ireland.

Jena holds a Master of Arts in Violence, Terrorism and Security from Queen’s University, Belfast, a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations from the University of Adelaide, and a Graduate Certificate in Gender Mainstreaming Policy and Analysis from Flinders University.
