Jessica Lees is a Leader at Humanitarian Advisory Group (HAG), in Melbourne. Jess has worked in humanitarian response operations in Africa and the Asia-Pacific for a range of humanitarian agencies including NGOs, UN agencies, and the Red Cross Movement. As a Response Manager at the Australian Red Cross, Jess coordinated Australia’s contribution to operations in East African countries facing drought and famine, and tropical cyclones Winston in Fiji in 2016 and Gita in Tonga in 2017. Jess holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from RMIT University in Melbourne and a Master of International Crisis Management from Monash University.
