Karl Ragas is an international strategic marketing consultant for Southeast Asia and a graduate student of Modern East Asian Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt.

Upon finishing his undergraduate degree in Applied Economics from De La Salle University in 2016, he pursued a master's degree in International Relations and National Security and a graduate degree in Project Management from Curtin University, Australia. He wrote his previous master's dissertation on the critical analysis of the theoretical foundation of hybrid warfare strategies and its application in the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014.

He has written for Future Directions International and AIIA’s Australian Outlook. His research interests include conflict studies, non-kinetic warfare, and deterrence theory.
