Kevin is the founding Editor of Radio NZ Pacific, or Radio New Zealand International as it was known from 1990 until 2017. His first journalism job was with the ‘old’ RNZI as a sub-editor in Auckland from 1978-1982. He has also reported on Asia and the Pacific for the ABC, Radio Australia, and ABC Online was Network Editor at SBS-TV and News Director at Imparja TV, Alice Springs. He currently reports on business and economic affairs in Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific, and teaches journalism at Swinburne University, Melbourne.
