Mubashar Hasan is a Post-Doctoral Rsearch Fellow at the Department of Lanugages and Culture, University Oslo, Norway. He is also a director of Sydney Policy and Analysis Centre (SPAC), an Australian consulting company.  His book Islam and Politics in Bangladesh: The followers of Ummah was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2020. His latest co-edited book includes Masks of Authoritarianism Hegemony, Power and Public Life in Bangladesh (Palgrave Macmillan 2022). Along with The Interpreter, his articles have been published by Foreign PolicyGeorgetown Journal of International Affairs, United States Institute of Peace, The Conversation and ABC Religion and EthicsAljazeera, E-IR, Open Democracy, East Asia Forum, Dev Policy, among others. In 2021, Griffith Business School, awarded him with outstanding international alumnus award.
