Raffaello Pantucci is a Senior Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and a Senior Visiting Fellow at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Singapore. His research and writing focuses on terrorism and counter-terrorism, and China’s relations with its western neighbours. He is the editor of China in Central Asia and the co-founder of Young China Watchers.
