Rupert Stone is a freelance journalist working on Asian security and geopolitics, with a focus on South Asia. Educated at the University of Oxford and University of London, Stone has written for various publications including Newsweek, VICE News, Al Jazeera English, Nikkei Asia, the National Interest, and the Independent. Stone has also contributed analysis to the UN and Royal Society for Asian Affairs, along with its journal, Asian Affairs, and appeared at events hosted by the Brookings Institution and other think tanks.
