American author and journalist Susan Glasser joins Lowy Institute Board
The Chairman of the Lowy Institute, Sir Frank Lowy AC, announced today that Susan B. Glasser, the Washington correspondent for The New Yorker, has joined the Lowy Institute Board.
“Susan is one of the finest and most influential journalists in Washington, DC,” said Sir Frank Lowy AC.
“She has had a long and deep association with the Institute, and I am confident she will make a strong contribution to the Board, including by extending our international network.”
“Susan’s field reports from Washington during President Donald Trump’s second term will also provide valuable insights for the Board and staff of the Institute,” he added.
Ms Glasser is a former editor of both Politico and Foreign Policy. For ten years, she was an editor and reporter at The Washington Post.
With her husband Peter Baker (Chief White House Correspondent for The New York Times), Susan has also published a number of important books, including Kremlin Rising, The Man Who Ran Washington, and The Divider.
In recent years, she has served as a Nonresident Fellow at the Lowy Institute and has contributed to Institute activities and events.
“I am honoured to join the Lowy Institute Board, and look forward to contributing to its impressive work,” said Ms Glasser.
