The Hon Anthony Albanese MP is the Prime Minister of Australia.
He is currently serving his second consecutive term following the May 2025 federal election. He previously served as Leader of the Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition, Deputy Prime Minister; Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government; Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy; and Leader of the House. He has represented the electorate of Grayndler in the federal Parliament since 1996.
