Lynne O’Donnell is an Australian writer and journalist. She spent more than a decade in China, for newspapers, magazines and wire services. She covered the post 9/11 wars for international news organisations, including as Afghanistan bureau chief for Associated Press and Agence France-Presse, and as a columnist for Foreign Policy magazine. She has a Master’s degree in War Studies from King’s College London, and lives in Melbourne.
